Our Client is a leading provider of innovative compressed air systems and services, recognised for delivering excellence through trust, respect, integrity, and a pioneering spirit. With a strong commitment to building lasting customer relationships and driving continuous innovation, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bid & Tender Partner to lead our end-to-end proposal development process.
 
This is a critical role for a strategic thinker who excels at project management, persuasive writing, and cross-functional collaboration. You will play a pivotal part in shaping high-quality, competitive proposals that win new business and strengthen our market position.
 
Responsibilities

  • Proposal Development & Management o Identify, track, and manage relevant proposal opportunities through dedicated portals and industry subscriptions. o Ensure all registrations, supplier approvals, and compliance requirements are current and aligned with procurement standards. o Develop compelling, well-structured proposals tailored to client needs and company objectives. o Coordinate timely proposal submissions, gathering input from sales, engineering, and finance teams. o Maintain a structured stage gate process to manage proposals from opportunity identification through to submission and post-submission feedback.
  • Performance Tracking & Analytics o Monitor and analyse proposal performance to identify trends and drive continuous improvement. o Use client and internal feedback to refine future strategies and enhance win rates. o Provide regular performance insights and reporting to management.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration o Partner with sales teams to understand client requirements and align proposal strategies. o Liaise with engineering to ensure technical accuracy and innovative solution details. o Work closely with finance to develop accurate, competitive pricing and commercial models.
  • CRM & Knowledge Management o Maintain an up-to-date proposal pipeline within CRM systems, tracking deadlines, submissions, and client communications. o Organise and manage proposal templates, successful submissions, and key learnings for future use. o Leverage CRM analytics to evaluate outcomes and continuously optimise proposal strategies. o Enable real-time collaboration with cross-functional teams through integrated CRM tools.
  • Reporting & Administration o Provide clear, timely reports to management as required. o Maintain organised electronic and paper filing systems to ensure compliance and knowledge continuity.
  • Professional Standards o Represent Hitachi Global Air Power with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to our core values. o Attend training sessions and proactively engage in professional development activities. o Uphold high standards of personal presentation and conduct when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in proposal management, bid/tender management, service coordination, or a related role.  
  • Proven track record in developing high-quality proposals and achieving strong win rates.  
  • Excellent writing and document management skills, with the ability to produce persuasive, compliant proposals.  
  • Strong project management and organisational abilities, with keen attention to detail.  
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track and optimise proposal performance.  
  • Confident communicator with experience collaborating across departments.  
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.  
  • Tertiary qualification in service operations or a related field (advantageous).
