Role’s purpose
The Technical Business Development Manager will develop ICL Industrial Products (IP) Division
pipeline of new products and applications in the area of Electrical Vehicles.
Main Responsibilities
â–ª Identify new opportunities with potential contribution in the business of EV.
â–ª Conduct research to identify new markets, emerging market trends and customer unmet
needs.
â–ª Assess market needs and build business plans to promote it.
â–ª Build strong relationship with all the relevant value chain, academy, researchers and
industry professionals.
â–ª Lead interdisciplinary teams for each selected business opportunity (Sales and Marketing,
R&D, Production and Finance).
â–ª Work with potential partners to establish rapport and collaborations.
â–ª Establish and manage a process for generating, evaluating and filtering new ideas.
â–ª Prepare and present a business case for investment.
â–ª Continually review, evaluate and enhance the development of the identified business
opportunities.
â–ª Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
â–ª Possess a strong understanding of IP products, competition in the industry and positioning.

Required Experience & Skills
â–ª 5 years of experience in Business/Market Development in the field of electronics, preferably
Electrical Vehicles.
â–ª Previous marketing experience – significant advantage
â–ª Technical background (Chemical Engineering/Material Engineering or Electrical Engineering
degree)
â–ª MBA in Business Administration or Economics or another relevant field – Advantage
â–ª Track record of managing multiple projects in parallel
â–ª Leadership, able to set up teams and drive matrix teams to success.
â–ª Experience in developing of Business plans for new products and markets.
